Tours will leave at their designated times – please be sure to allot extra time in order to arrive 20 minutes prior to your tour time. Those who arrive after their scheduled tour time will be considered late. For example: If your tour is at 2pm, we will not accept arrivals after 2pm. Big Bear Ziplines will allow you to reschedule for free as a one-time courtesy if for some reason you are unable to arrive on time for your scheduled tour. If you decide not to reschedule, there will be no refund issued unless you have purchased Cancellation Insurance.

The rescheduling policies which apply are based on whether or not you purchase Cancellation Insurance. The chart below is a basic breakdown of how our Rescheduling Policy applies to each situation. We reserve the right to cancel a tour at our discretion and to delay a tour up to one hour. If you do not wish to wait during the one hour time period you will not be reimbursed and will incur an additional non-refundable $20 per person rescheduling fee if you would like to reschedule and have not purchased Cancellation Insurance; those with Cancellation Insurance may reschedule at no additional cost.

We will run tours rain, snow or shine. However, we do have concerns for the safety of our Zipsters and therefore it is up to the discretion of our company as to whether or not we will send a tour out in inclement weather. We usually will not cancel a tour more than 3 hours in advance as we like to review the radar and make sure we provide you with the best experience possible. Cancellation Insurance is optional but for your benefit. This non-refundable fee of $9.90 per person ensures that you have the upmost flexibility in booking your tour. It CAN ONLY BE USED ONCE PER TOUR. Cancellation Insurance is not available to those who are redeeming a daily deal such as groupon/living social/deal chicken, etc. If you cancel or reschedule your tour, you must purchase the insurance again to ensure that you are covered for any sort of situation that may prevent you from participating in your next tour. You must purchase Cancellation Insurance for your entire group and have up to 10 days before your tour to do so. In many cases, this policy has helped those whose car did not start when they woke up and couldn’t make it to their tour or who suddenly had a last-minute medical emergency and had to cancel their tour. It does not cover no call/no show*, are asked to leave because they’re deemed unfit to continue, do not follow Big Bear Ziplines rules and regulations, are intoxicated or believed to be under the influence of illegal substances, those who do not meet the requirements/restrictions and who do not complete their tour by personal choice. We highly suggest Cancellation Insurance to those who are traveling as your plans may change, the weather may be bad or your flight might be delayed…who knows! Please review the chart below to understand how this policy can benefit you!
